Terms of use
Last updated: 27 September 2026
1. Who we are
This website, virveldigital.com, is operated by Virvel Digital (“we”, “us”, “our”), a digital marketing business based in South Africa, with an office in Stockholm, Sweden. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Using this website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use it in any way that breaches any applicable law, damages the site, or interferes with anyone else’s use of it. We may suspend or restrict access to the site at any time without notice.
3. Our content
All content on this website, including text, design, graphics, logos, the Virvel name and mark, and the arrangement of it all, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may view and share our content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or use it commercially without our written permission.
4. Your content
If you send us anything through this website, such as an enquiry, a message or a brief, you confirm it is accurate and that you have the right to send it. We treat what you send in line with our Privacy Policy below.
5. Links to other sites
Our website may link to other websites we do not control. We include these links for convenience only. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of any external site, and a link does not mean we endorse it.
6. No guarantees
We work hard to keep this website accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”. We do not guarantee it will always be available, error-free or free of viruses. Anything on this site is general information, not professional advice tailored to your situation; for that, speak to us directly.
7. Our services
Any work we do for you as a client is governed by a separate written agreement between us, not by these website terms. Prices shown on this website are starting points and indicative only; they do not constitute a binding offer until confirmed in a written quote.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
9. Privacy
How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy below, which forms part of these terms and is written to comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, with the date it was last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Privacy policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
Virvel Digital (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, and your rights. It is written to comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
1. Who is responsible for your information
Virvel Digital is the responsible party for the personal information collected through this website. Questions about this policy, or requests to our Information Officer, can be sent to the email address in the Contact us section below.
2. What information we collect
We only collect what we need. Depending on how you use the site, this may include:
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company and any details you include when you complete our contact form or message us.
- Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and device. Our contact form stores a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for a short time to prevent spam. If website analytics are switched on, anonymous usage data is collected as described in our Cookie Notice below.
3. Why we collect it
We use your personal information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and provide the information or services you ask for
- Prepare quotes and communicate with you about your project
- Keep our website secure and free of spam
- Improve our website and understand how visitors use it
- Send you information you have asked to receive (only that; we do not send unsolicited marketing)
- Meet our legal and regulatory obligations
4. The legal basis for using your information
We process your information on one or more of these grounds: your consent; to take steps at your request before entering into a contract; our legitimate business interests (such as responding to enquiries, preventing spam and improving our service); and compliance with the law. Under POPIA, we only process personal information lawfully and for the purposes set out above.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, for example our website hosting provider, email platform and, if enabled, analytics tools, and only to the extent they need it to perform their service. These providers are required to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.
6. Sending information outside South Africa
Some of our service providers, such as email or analytics platforms, may store data on servers outside South Africa, and we have an office in Sweden. Where information is transferred, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a standard comparable to POPIA.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as required by law. When we no longer need it, we securely delete or anonymise it.
8. How we protect it
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your personal information secure, including secure hosting, encrypted connections (SSL), restricted access and spam protection on our forms. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any breach as required by POPIA.
9. Your rights
Under POPIA, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or update information that is wrong or out of date
- Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
- Object to us processing your information in certain circumstances
- Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent
- Complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You can also contact the Information Regulator at inforeg@justice.gov.za.
10. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always appear on this page with the date it was last updated.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work properly, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used.
2. The cookies we use

- Essential cookies: needed for the website to function and to keep it secure (for example, when our team logs in to manage the site). Ordinary visitors browsing the site or sending an enquiry do not need to accept any cookies.
- Analytics cookies (only if enabled): if we switch on Google Analytics, it uses cookies to help us understand, in aggregated form, how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
- Marketing cookies (only if we run campaigns): if we run advertising campaigns, we may use marketing cookies, for example from Google or Meta, to measure and improve those campaigns. Where required, we will ask for your consent before these are set.
3. Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings: you can block all cookies, delete existing ones, or set your browser to warn you before a cookie is stored. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working properly. Instructions are available in the help section of your browser.
